What this site collects

Binding Unfolded is a static reference site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no user accounts, no forms and no comment system, and it sets no cookies of its own. If you write to the address on the contact page, your message and address are used only to reply and to apply any correction you report.

Cloudflare, as the host, processes each request in order to serve the page and protect the site from abuse. That processing can include your IP address and browser details in short-lived server logs, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The site opens in its light theme. If you choose System or Dark in the footer, that choice is kept in your browser's local storage, on your device only, and nothing about it is sent anywhere.

Advertising

This site may show advertising served by Google AdSense. When ads are running, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or to other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet. Those vendors may also use web beacons or your IP address to measure ad delivery.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices. Ads on this site are labeled as advertising and are placed away from the diagrams and their controls. No page asks you to click an ad, and no ad appears on this page, the contact page, the terms page or the "page not found" screen.

Consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland while ads are running, a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform appears before any advertising cookie is set. It names each party that may receive your data and lets you consent, refuse, or choose per purpose. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time with the "Manage consent" link in the footer, which reopens the same message. Records of consent are kept by the consent platform, not by this site.

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages and diagrams are used. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) that hold a random identifier, and it records the pages you view, roughly where you are (from your IP address, which Google Analytics 4 does not log or store) and the device and browser you use. No name, email address or account is involved.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are not set until you allow them in the consent message, and you can withdraw that later with the "Manage consent" link in the footer. Children

This site is a general-audience reference about how books are bound. It is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no information from them.
